About Us
Welcome to Saint Clement's
Welcome to St Clement's Episcopal Church. Our worship is Anglo-Catholic, our music spectacular. Our growing outreach flows from the Mass, the preaching and teaching of the Gospel, the daily Divine Office. We welcome people of all colors, male & female, straight & gay, single & married with children, rich & poor. So you qualify! No matter who you are, you belong here.
The traditional way of celebrating the Mass is making a come-back in both the Anglican and Roman Catholic Churches, and I have had many fascinating letters from priests who say they have used our service sheets and our splendid pictures. In this way, St. Clement's is doing its bit to promote the old liturgy according to the English Missal.
If you love good music, we have one of the best choirs in America, and first-rate organists.
If you want to experience a little of “the beauty of holiness”, the High Mass gives us a wonderful time to rest in the Lord, praying and praising with all our senses.
If you want friendship and fellowship, come and join our Coffee Hour, our Receptions, our classes, our outreach groups. Whatever your talents, you will be valued.
Please pray for St. Clement’s and become a Friend of St. Clement’s by emailing the rector. You will be prayed for daily at the Shrine Prayers, and once a year by name.
If you cannot be here in person, but need prayers for yourself or for your loved ones, send me their names and they will be included in the daily Novena to Our Lady of Clemency at 5.45 each evening.
A special need at the moment is the "Curate's Fund" which will help with the stipend of our new assistant priest. So if God has blessed you with worldly goods, please consider making a donation to this Fund. It can be in memory of a loved one or in thanksgiving for a blessing received.
May God bless you and keep you in his care.
GORDON REID.
